Event Marshal
Something not working, or not making sense? Here is how to get it sorted.
Get in touch with our help deskProfile → Send feedback. Best route for a bug, because it arrives with the app version and enough context to actually chase the problem down.
Expect a reply within a few days. This is a volunteer project and we are doing our best, every message does get read.
No. Browsing every chapter event works with no sign-in at all. Signing in with MotorsportReg adds your own registrations, your chapter memberships, and your run group and instructor assignment for driving events.
Pull down to refresh on the Registered events screen, or tap Refresh from MotorsportReg on your profile.
If some are still absent, they are probably for a chapter or organisation the app does not cover. The app carries events from a fixed set of chapters — a registration with any other organiser will not appear, and the app says so on that screen rather than silently dropping it.
The app shows what each chapter publishes to MotorsportReg's public calendar. If an event has not been published there, or has been listed by a different chapter as a cross-post, it will not appear. Email the address above with the event name and we can check which side the gap is on.
Check Settings → Event Marshal → Notifications on your phone, then Profile → Notifications in the app. Both have to be on.
Notices go only to people registered for the event in question, so a quiet week is usually just a quiet week.
Profile → Delete account. It removes everything the app holds about you, immediately.
Your MotorsportReg account is not touched — your membership, registrations and history there are unaffected. See the privacy policy for exactly what is removed.
No longer have the app installed? The account deletion page explains how to request it by email.
All registration and payment happens on MotorsportReg. The app only links out to it. If a registration link is not working, that is a MotorsportReg question rather than an app one — though do tell us if a link in the app points somewhere wrong.
Admin features — publishing a schedule, setting the speed waiver link, importing run group assignments — are switched on per person. Email the address above from the address your chapter knows you by.
